Shipping Update for Aus and USA
about 9 years ago – Wed, Feb 22, 2017 at 09:34:01 PM

Fulfilrite has begun posting out their packages. Also Aetherworks in Australia should be finished their run by Friday.

For all HappyShops backers, most of Europe, if you haven't received a tracking number or some kind of any indication that a package is on it's way, let me know.

Remember, any issues with your order, please email me immediately: [email protected]

Just a heads up for all those getting replacement parts, we have to wait till the initial backer orders are sent before sending out replacements...again your patience is appreciated.

Rate Mothership on BGG

Have you played Mothership yet? Did you enjoy it? Don't forget to drop a rating on the BGG page.

I have some cool things planned for a second campaign which will include more ways to play, expanding on the solid foundation already available in base game. I will be sending out a survey next update to get your feedback. I know it seems a little soon considering you haven't had that long with the game, but to get a product out and campaign organised takes a lot of time so I want to get all done asap.

Shipping Update
about 9 years ago – Wed, Feb 15, 2017 at 11:09:46 PM

 Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on shipping, all HappyShops games have been sent out which includes the following countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, UK, Greece, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia

Australia and NZ should start in the next week or so. The USA shipment has hit land and is on it's way to the Fulfilrite Warehouse. The expected arrival is 23rd of Feb.

For those interested, Fulfillrite are covering these countries:

Bahrain, Canada, Chile, Hong Kong, Iceland, Japan, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and the USA.

Quality Issues

I've been sent lots of lovely messages from gamers who have received their copy of Mothership in one piece and are very happy with the product. Please keep sending these, I never get sick of reading them :)

Inevitably there will be some games that, for whatever reason, arrive with dents or parts missing or some other quality issue. Please send me an email immediately about these issues with photos to: [email protected]

Any quality issues that are found will be taken back to WinGO. They have done a great job so far of making Mothership but I do understand there is a margin for error.

New Board Layouts

Some new board layouts have been uploaded over on the website. There are now over 23 in the gallery! A big thank you to Cole for making some 3 and 5 player maps. If you've just gotten the game, go have a look and try something new.

That's all for this week!

Shipping Update
about 9 years ago – Wed, Feb 08, 2017 at 10:55:36 PM

I'm excited to let all our European, Aussie and New Zealand backers know that your copies of Mothership start shipping to your addresses around the start of next week.

Aetherworks in Sydney are currently processing the backer list and HappyShops in Germany have already begun sending out email notifications of delivery. HappyShops even sent a photo of the pallet:

North America needs to wait a little bit longer, sorry! Your boat is still on schedule but has just taken longer thanks to the distance it has to travel. Some Asian countries are also covered in that group so keep that in mind if you live there (Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan etc).

Next Campaign

It's exciting to think about doing a second print run for Mothership and it's even cooler giving you the opportunity to be involved in what will be added.

Just to restate: this isn't a 'second edition', nor will any part of the game-play be overhauled. The second print run will include the retail version plus an exclusive 'Add-on pack' which will add things previously not in the game (ie extra ship colours).

I look forward to a much faster schedule too as all the production and setup is finished so you shouldn't have to wait 9 months to receive your rewards should you choose to back again. I'll post more info about that when we come to it.

While you all patiently wait for your copy, check out the Layout Creator and send me some of your best board layouts and I'll add them to the website.

Layout Creator, address lock-down and LOTS of photos
about 9 years ago – Wed, Jan 18, 2017 at 10:58:51 PM

I have a big update for you this week! Let's get the boring stuff done first...

Address Lock-down

In 24 hours I'm locking address changes so please, if you haven't done so already, update your address. After tomorrow, address changes won't be possible and if your copy of Mothership gets sent to the wrong place then I may not be able to provide you with a replacement.

Shipping Update

Australia ETA - 1st of Feb

United States ETA - 14th Feb

Germany ETA - now...(it's arrived!)

I apologise to those who have to wait longer for their copy, unfortunately it's just the way it's worked out.

For everyone in Europe, the good people at HappyShops will be fulfilling your order and because it's being shipped from within the EU you will avoid any VAT charges. Fulfillment is set to begin no later than the 1st of Feb.

North American fulfillment will start as soon we can, that is being handled by Fullfilrite.

Australia and our slightly better looking cousins New Zealand, your copies will be posted by Aetherworks in Sydney.

Layout Creator

I'm super excited about this little addition to the website because I love PC games with map editors so I hope you creative types out there will also get a kick out of creating and sharing your board layouts with everyone.

You can run the app from here in your browser. So, get creative, make something cool and send me a screenshot of what you come up with.

Have a look at the gallery of current layouts. All the good submissions I recieve will be included on the website and eventually in the app.

Photos...lots of them

The final production copies of Mothership came through over the holiday period and now, for your viewing pleasure, I present what your game will actually look like when you have it in your hands...

Thank you

That's right, YOU. For what? Thank you for helping make my vision a reality. Everything you see above is the culmination of my hard work over 4 years and it's amazing to actually see a final product. I couldn't have done it without you taking a gamble on my ability to fully produce an entire board game and deliver it. Thanks for believing in me :)

Future Plans

I'm hesitant to lay solid plans for Mothership until I've 100% fulfilled this campaign, but I can at least let you in on my ideas.

For the next few months I'm going to monitor how Mothership is received and start forming a campaign for a second print run. A second campaign will achieve the basic goal of giving those who missed out on this run an opportunity get a copy while maybe adding a few extra elements. Questions such as what that means for you current backers will be answered later one.

Talk again in 2-ish weeks :)

Please Update Your Address
about 9 years ago – Thu, Jan 05, 2017 at 04:01:31 PM

The print run for Mothership is completely finished!

WinGO is preparing the pallets of board games for three different destinations.

Two shipments are going by boat; one to freezing cold North America (Fulfillrite) and one to flaming hot Australia (Aetherworks)

The last lot of games are going to Germany (HappyShops) and lucky for our European backers, your games are sent by air.

Addresses Will Locked on 20th of January

Please update your addresses now. I can't stress this enough, all addresses will be locked on the 20th. If you're address is incorrect when your game is shipped I may not be able to organise a replacement for you.

How to Update Your Address

Find your BackerKit email and follow the link to update your information. If you have lost it then you can follow this link below to recover your email:

What's Next

The Layout Builder web app is almost done. I've been stuck on a few little bugs but I'm hoping it will be ready by the next update.

I've also received the final production copies from WinGo which have been assessed for quality of your final product. I must say that I am very impressed! I wasn't able to squeeze in time for photos this update but I plan to take lots of pictures for everyone next time.

Wooo, what a crazy nine months it has been! Our initial journey has almost come to an end. Thank you to all backers who have waited patiently, again, you are the real MVP.

Talk to you again in about 2-ish weeks.

Peter
